Using Zytronic’s patented Projected Capacitive Touch Sensor Technology (PCT™), Unidesa, world leaders in the gaming and leisure sector have developed an innovative gaming concept based on bingo called “Wingo.”
The 6-player bingo inspired gaming cabinet called Mesa Hex, features six 15.6” Zytronic touchscreens which are mounted behind and operate through a protective printed overlay glass – a function unique to Zytronic’s method of projected capacitance touch sensing technology. This creates an attractive, flush mounted surface whilst also increasing the protection of the LCD beneath, from accidental or malicious damage.
Unidesa worked closely with Zytronic’s Spanish partner, Iberhermes, to design the touchscreen interface incorporating the display, touch sensor and cover glass Wingo offers a different gaming experience by allowing up to 6 players to play simultaneously, while seated around the central table, introducing a greater sense of competition and fun.
“Unidesa are a very well-known brand in Spain and Latin America, and we are delighted that they have chosen to use our Zybrid touch sensors in their new gaming system.”
