Global Gaming Expo 2013 Event Round Up

04 October 2013

Bright light city Las Vegas once again welcomed the casino community to the Sands Convention Centre, right in the centre of the action on the famous Boulevard for the annual Global Gaming Expo. Attracting the biggest names in the business, the event was yet another huge success thanks to record attendances and fantastic exhibitors.

For the first time, Zytronic exhibited at the event after attending last year and reaped the rewards of sharing the stage with the largest gaming companies from across the globe. The main attraction at our booth was the 55” multi-touch table which was as popular as ever, just as it has been at all events since its launch at ISE2013. Visitors were especially interested in the capability that multi-touch technology offers in the field of multi-player gaming.

As well as the table we debuted our curved multi-touch screen capability. The customized curved 32” multi-touch screen sets the way for a new generation of casino hardware, demonstrating to designers the vast options for customisation of gaming cabinets and other leisure products.  See the table in action.

This latest multi-touch projected capacitive (MPCT™) touch technology, together with other innovations, are enabling the development of new machines that deliver an exciting player experience.

Suzo-Happ (who recently aquired the Transcity Group) also exhibited at this year’s Gaming Expo where they demonstrated the exciting capabilities of the multi-touch SportsVision Table. View the video of the popular touch table.

The large format touch tables feature our multi-touch PCT solution with up to 40 simultaneous touch points that deliver an exciting player experience. Each unit features a 42-inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. Through its multi-touch graphical user interface (GUI), sports fans will be able to select various TV channels in order to watch live games, as well as viewing web pages to get the latest results or catch up on pre-match gossip.

They also featured the Tabcorp wagering and lottery terminal which is popular in hotels and clubs across many of the largest cities in Australia (pictured below).

The terminals are constatly exposed and require our toughest touch screen to withstand vandalism and the likelihood of scatching posed in the public environment.
