Another great year at the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) convention saw the debut of our new ZYFILM®: a Multitouch Projected Capacitive Touch Film designed to complement our range of award-winning glass touch sensors.
The rollable, flexible touch film is laminated to the rear of a transparent substrate and when combined with a projector or LCD, the surface will become touch-sensitive. Ideal for retail and other digital signage applications, the touch film is designed for shop windows and other eye-catching, interactive displays.
The new thinner composition of the touch foil helps to minimise transportation costs, as they can now be stored in tubes when shipped in small quantities.
Attendees at ISE were also free to interact with a demonstrative, 55” multitouch projective capacitive touchscreen table with 4mm-thick thermally tempered glass, suitable for a variety of commercial and retail applications.
Durable and robust, the multi touch table is capable of detecting up to 40 individual touch points and once again impressed users with its high-quality display and smooth, quick response.
Over 45,000 people attended ISE 2015, hosted in Amsterdam RAI between 10th-12th of February. More than 1,000 companies used what is one of the biggest and best AV shows in the world to launch and display new products and ideas.
The event offers an opportunity to network and connect with existing suppliers and customers, as well as the new attendees that are attracted by the show each year.
Sales and Marketing Director Ian Crosby spoke to rAve at the show to talk about our multitouch projective capacitive touch screens, as well as the ZYFILM:
