We are delighted to announce that we have won the ‘Design Team of the Year’ at the British Engineering Excellence Awards (BEEAs) which took place in London on Thursday 24th October.
The award, which was sponsored by Anglia, acknowledges the achievement of design teams in the creation of innovative electronic products. Factors such as the team’s interaction and decisions made throughout the project, as well as how the team met a budget were taken into consideration by the judges when selecting the winner.
Our Research and Development team headed up by Dr Andrew Morrison, were nominated for the development of the new MPCTTM multi touch projected capacitive technology, developed for use in self-service and public environments and currently available in sizes up to 84”. Andrew, who attended the ceremony and collected the award, commented on the success:
“This award is for all the R&D team at Zytronic and is well deserved for all the hard work and effort we have all put into to this new product development. It’s a testament to the fact that new product development is still alive and well within the north east of England.”
