On the 16th and 17th August 2011 DisplaySearch will host, for the third year running, the Emerging Display Technologies Conference at the Marriott in San Jose, California, USA. The two-day conference will cover various presentations from key industry representatives on the latest trends in display technologies including: touch screens, 3D displays to OLED displays and lighting, pico projectors, flexible displays and e-paper technologies.
Mark Cambridge, CEO of Zytronic will present during Session 1 on the 16th August. This first session, from 9:00 a.m. to noon, is dedicated to touch screens and the fast growing projected capacitive touch market. Mark will specifically compare the different types of projected capacitive touch technologies currently available (mutual and self-capacitive) and highlight how Zytronic’s proprietary PCT™ technology (a self-capacitive approach based upon frequency modulation) is particularly well suited for the larger display form factors that are being deployed in heavy use, publically-accessible interactive displays increasingly found in digital signs, information points and vending machines.
