Home > Events > Zytronic Debuts Advanced Touch Control Technology at ISE
Zytronic will be using ISE as the platform on which to unveil its latest innovation in multi-touch technology for self-service and unattended touchscreen applications. The company will be demonstrating a further addition to its proprietary MPCT™ projected capacitive product portfolio, with new touch controller technology developed to enable improvements in operational performance on ultra-large format MPCT touchscreens (above 55-inches in size).
By combining innovative electronic design with updated firmware containing its latest touch detection algorithms, Zytronic’s new controller can significantly boost the density of touch data captured by the screen, significantly increasing touch resolution, whilst still maintaining millisecond response times. This means it is possible to quickly distinguish between touch points that are closer than ever before, even on the largest MPCT touchscreens.
Visitors to the Zytronic stand at ISE will be able to see this cutting-edge technology in action, with it incorporated into a fully functioning 55-inch touch table. A second live demo will feature a 32-inch convex screen with multi-touch, showing MPCT’s unique ability to be implemented in a wide variety of designs, including on curved surfaces.
“The interactive digital signage market is important to Zytronic and ISE is a key event in this field. Attendees to the show will have the perfect opportunity to interact with our latest multi-touch technology and experience the raised level of precision we added to this versatile and extremely robust offering,” states Ian Crosby, Sales & Marketing Director at Zytronic. “These two demos underline Zytronic’s strength in the digital signage sector and our ability to integrate cutting-edge interactivity into rugged, ultra-large displays designed for deployment in public areas.”
