We had a busy month in February, with not one but two major international events: Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) in Amsterdam, and ICE Totally Gaming in London.
Integrated Systems Europe (ISE)
2018 saw the 15th annual ISE event, the largest AV systems integration show in the world, grow even larger, with exhibitors and visitors from around the world enjoying networking events, conferences and new product launches.
Zytronic once again had a successful showing at ISE, this time with our new exhibition stand, starring an all-new 55” touch table concept, featuring our forthcoming ZXY500 controller.
Based around a cutting edge, proprietary ASIC, the ZXY500 multi-touch controllers offer touchscreen industry leading, noise immunity, enabling wireless technologies such as RFID, NFC and Qi phone charging modules to be integrated immediately next to the touchscreen without impairing the performance.
All of these features were present in our sleek demonstration touch table, alongside 100-point touch detection, force sensing and capacitive object recognition.

ICE Totally Gaming
Zytronic is one of the best kept secrets in the global gaming market, supplying highly customised and incredibly reliable touch sensors to many leading slot machine and wagering terminal manufacturers. As a result, we picked up our Passport to Paradise, and travelled to London, excited to be exhibiting at the show for the very first time! And ICE did not disappoint!
Europe’s largest gaming industry show was held on 6-8 February in the ExCeL London, with visitors from all over the world eager to see the best, and the brightest new innovations from gaming machine manufacturers and their suppliers.
Over three days the ExCel was transformed into a gaming extravaganza, with a frenzy of bright-lights, colourful characters, and advanced technology. From curved, touch responsive displays on the latest cabinets, video button decks and large format multi-player table solutions; it was clear that touchscreens are now the pre-eminent way for players to engage with games. Almost all the big players in the casino world now make use of the versatile and interactive nature of the technology.
At the show Zytronic showcased its new ZXY500 touch controller in a eye-catching concept unit. Designed to showcase the latest touch
technology the unit features a curved 49” multi-touch sensor with class leading, ultra-narrow borders. In addition, a uniquely designed hybrid multi-touch button deck incorporated innovative patent pending transparent touch sensing dial, an NFC card reader, Qi wireless phone charging, and most importantly, somewhere to hold your drink!
Visitors to the stand were impressed by Zytronic’s ability to combine all these services in a single unit, and the potential creative options available for future gaming cabinet designs.
