Formation of Zytronic Inc., and new recruit strengthen support for customers and sales channels for projected capacitive touch sensors in USA, Canada and Mexico
Zytronic, the specialist developer and manufacturer of large form factor touch sensor solutions, has established a direct presence in North America with the formation of Zytronic Inc., a subsidiary of Zytronic Displays Ltd. The company has also strengthened its support for customers and sales partners in the region with the addition of a Sales Support Engineer, Scott Durden, who will be based in Atlanta, GA.
The company’s touchscreens are widely deployed in the self-service, digital signage, gaming, leisure and industrial markets globally, with North America a focal point for the development of these applications. Zytronic’s PCT™ (single/dual touch) and MPCT™ (multi touch) projected capacitive touch sensors have been widely adopted by manufacturers and the company is keen to extend its ability to provide rapid on-site technical support to existing and prospective customers.
Scott Durden is a qualified electronics engineer and brings over fifteen years experience in field service engineering roles to Zytronic. He has performed installations, inspections and maintenance on complex imaging and medical equipment and is also proficient in troubleshooting techniques. As a part of Zytronic’s North American sales team, he will also work closely with the company’s existing network of North American manufacturers representatives.
